Giovanni Moujaes is a first-generation Italian-Lebanese American journalist and news leader. He is currently the head of audience and product at inewsource in San Diego.
From video production to product strategy
I’ll be the first to tell you that my decade-long career in journalism hasn’t been predictable or linear. What started as a focus on visual storytelling morphed into a passion for content strategy and later product management. I’ve helped lead major breaking news events like regional wildfires and mass shootings, and built product experiences with accessibility and audience engagement in mind. I’m an “expert generalist,” and my love for emerging tech like AI keeps things interesting.
